Living the GOOD LIFE for the REST OF YOUR LIFE!

LIVING AND WORKING
IN ITALY!

Retire around the world

Finding a job in Italy is possible, but not highly probable unless you have a very specialized background and/or talent.  But if you DO find someone who is able to employ you in Italy, that employer must file for your work  permit, and it must be done BEFORE you leave for Italy. Once you receive the work permit, you can then apply for a visa from the Italian consulate in your native country.

Once you arrive in Italy with your appropriate visa and work permit, you then apply for your permission to reside in the country for longer than 90 days.

The advantage for an EU resident is that they can freely relocate to Italy, register as a resident once arriving in the country, and they have an immediate right to work.

The internet is a good source of income, if you can find the right business to sustain you.  Teaching a language is also possible, if you have the right visa.
